Our CNC machining capabilities are built to meet the demands of high-precision components across a wide range of industries. Our machining facilities in China are equipped with a full suite of advanced CNC equipment, including 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining centers, CNC lathes with live tooling, and multi-tasking machines for complex geometries and tight tolerances.
We machine castings, forgings, and solid billets in materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, ductile iron, aluminum, and high-strength alloys. Our 5-axis machines allow simultaneous multi-face operations, reducing setup times and improving dimensional accuracy on intricate parts. For cylindrical or rotational components, our CNC turning centers can incorporate secondary operations-milling, drilling, tapping-in a single cycle.
All machining is programmed using CAM software from validated 3D models, ensuring consistency from prototype to series production. Tolerances down to ±0.01 mm are achievable, with critical features verified via CMM inspection and full dimensional reports provided upon request. We optimize feeds, speeds, and tool paths for each material and geometry to ensure surface quality, tool life, and cycle efficiency.
SQM's machining services are integrated into our full production workflow, including casting, forging, and surface treatment. This vertical integration allows us to deliver fully finished parts with reduced lead times, controlled cost, and full traceability-from raw material to final inspection.
